Kommandonek Game Reserve is the ultimate wedding venue with a spectacular view of the Vaal River, natural beauty and serenity of the surrounding mountains in the Vredefort Dome. This venue is brand new and has accommodation available for you and your guests.

Accommodation consists of double rooms and family rooms with en-suite bathrooms or communal bathrooms. We have 15 rooms available that will suit any need. 2 separate kitchens are available for the use of guests (total guests: 50).

Nestled in the Vredefort Dome with unique surroundings, this reserve offers breathtaking photographic opportunities.

We offer something different to the assertive bride. As we do not do catering, you can hire your own caterer and decorations. Your options on Kommandonek Game Reserve are limitless.

Couples may choose to have the ceremony in the venue, or have a “Bush wedding” in the veldt on a hill overlooking Kommandonek Game Reserve.

The venue seats up to 200 people and is flexible with regards to table placements, dance floor and musicians.
